\u00d6z<\/strong>:<\/span> Bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmada Phaselis Antik Kenti kapsam\u0131nda yer alan Bostanl\u0131k Kumsallar\u0131\u2019nda iri ba\u015fl\u0131 deniz kaplumba\u011falar\u0131n\u0131n (Caretta caretta) yuva yap\u0131p yapmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 de\u011ferlendirilmi\u015f, yuva durumu var ise yuva yapan populasyonun durumlar\u0131 ile ilgili baz\u0131 parametreler (ergin \u00e7\u0131k\u0131\u015f, yuva, yavru \u00e7\u0131k\u0131\u015f vb.) ara\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bu kapsamda 2014 y\u0131l\u0131 yaz d\u00f6nemine ait bulgular bu saha i\u00e7in ilk verileri ve kay\u0131tlar\u0131 olu\u015fturmaktad\u0131r. Bostanl\u0131k Koyu Kumsal\u0131 ortas\u0131na yak\u0131n k\u0131s\u0131mdan uzanan kayal\u0131k burun nedeniyle Do\u011fu (yakla\u015f\u0131k 350 m.) ve Bat\u0131 (yakla\u015f\u0131k 500 m.) kumsal\u0131 olarak iki ayr\u0131 b\u00f6l\u00fcme ayr\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. \u00dcreme sezonunda yap\u0131lan bu \u00f6n \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmada Bostanl\u0131k Kumsal\u0131\u2019n\u0131n Bat\u0131 b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcnde toplam 10 yuva tespit edilmi\u015f, bu yuvalardan 5\u2019inde yavru \u00e7\u0131k\u0131\u015f\u0131 ger\u00e7ekle\u015fmi\u015ftir. Geri kalan iki yuva ise predat\u00f6rler taraf\u0131ndan tahrip edilmi\u015ftir. Di\u011fer taraftan turistlerin ve halk\u0131n yo\u011fun olarak kulland\u0131\u011f\u0131 Do\u011fu b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcnde ise hi\u00e7bir \u00e7\u0131k\u0131\u015fa rastlanmam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bostanl\u0131k Koyu Kumsal\u2019\u0131nda elde etti\u011fimiz veriler kumsal\u0131n yeni bir yuvalama alan\u0131 oldu\u011funu d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnd\u00fcrmektedir. Bu nedenle bu kumsalda ileride daha geni\u015f \u00e7apl\u0131 ve detayl\u0131 \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar yap\u0131lmal\u0131d\u0131r.<\/p>\n

Abstract: <\/strong>In this study, status of the loggerhead sea turtle (Caretta caretta) population nesting at Bostanl\u0131k Bay Beach in Phaselis Ancient City was investigated. In this context, findings of the summer semester of 2014 are the first data and records for this field. The beach, is divided into two sections (eastern section about 350 m and west approximately 500 m) because of the rocky nose which extends from near the middle section. In this preliminary study it has been identified in the breeding season Bostanl\u0131k Beach is a total of 10 nests in the western section and hatchling occurred in 5 of these nests. The remaining two nests were excavated by predators. On the other hand, in the east section which is using extensively by tourists and local peoples was not found any nest.<\/span><\/p>\n
