Beaufort taraf\u0131ndan ke\u015ffedilen Phaselis antik kenti iki y\u00fcz y\u0131ld\u0131r belirli aral\u0131klarla ara\u015f-t\u0131rma konusu olmu\u015ftur. Ancak, bu ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar kentin daha \u00e7ok Arkaik, Klasik, Hellenistik ve Roma \u0130mparatorlu\u011fu d\u00f6nemleri \u00fczerinde yo\u011funla\u015fm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. 2012 y\u0131l\u0131nda ba\u015flat\u0131lan multidisipliner ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar kapsam\u0131nda, 2013 y\u0131l\u0131nda kentin Do\u011fu Roma \u0130mparatorlu\u011fu D\u00f6nemi\u2019ne y\u00f6nelik ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar da y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fclm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. Y\u00fczey ara\u015ft\u0131rmas\u0131 olarak devam eden \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar 2013 ve 2014 y\u0131llar\u0131nda Phaselis\u2019in kent merkezi ve teritoryumunda yap\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. 2015 y\u0131l\u0131nda yap\u0131lan y\u00fczey ara\u015ft\u0131rmas\u0131 kentin akropolis\u2019inde ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirilmi\u015f ve Do\u011fu Roma \u0130mparatorlu\u011fu D\u00f6nemi kent arkeolojisine y\u00f6nelik \u00f6nemli veriler elde edilmi\u015ftir. Yap\u0131lan \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar neticesinde Phaselis antik kenti Do\u011fu Roma \u0130mparatorlu\u011fu D\u00f6nemi yerle\u015fiminin burada yo\u011funla\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131 anla\u015f\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bu metnin amac\u0131 2015 y\u0131l\u0131 \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131nda elde edilen verileri sunmak, bunlar\u0131 benzer \u00f6rnekler ile kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131rarak Phaselis\u2019in Do\u011fu Roma \u0130mparatorlu\u011fu D\u00f6nemi\u2019ne \u0131\u015f\u0131k tutmakt\u0131r.<\/p>\n

Abstract:\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>Since its discovery in 1811 by F. Beaufort, the archaeology of the ancient city of Phaselis has been the subject of much research. However, the research that has taken place at Phaselis has been mainly focused upon its Archaic, Classic, Hellenistic and Roman Period remains. In 2013, the study of the Eastern Roman Empire (Byzantine) remains was included within the scope of multidisciplinary research program at Phaselis which began in 2012. In 2013 and 2014, the study of the Eastern Roman period remains, which continue as surveys, were conducted in Phaselis\u2019s city centre and its territorium. The survey that was conducted in 2015 was carried out on at the city\u2019s acropolis. This survey indicates the intensification of settlement in the Eastern Roman Period on the acropolis at Phaselis. Research in acropolis area provided significant evidence concerning this period at Phaselis. This paper presents the data acquired in the survey of 2015 year and enabling a better comprehension of the Eastern Roman Period at Phaselis.<\/p>\n
