Phaselis\u2019teki suyolunun 1029 metre y\u00fckseklikte y\u00fczeye \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131\u011f\u0131 S\u0131tma P\u0131nar\u0131 mevki ile kent i\u00e7erisinden kemerler \u00fczerinde ge\u00e7en b\u00f6l\u00fcmleri aras\u0131nda, yak. 1020 metreye ula\u015fan bir kot fark\u0131 bulunmaktad\u0131r. \u0130ki sekt\u00f6r aras\u0131ndaki mesafe ku\u015f u\u00e7u\u015fu 8 kilometre olarak hesaplanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bu \u00f6zellikleriyle de\u011ferlendirildi\u011finde suyolunun bir tak\u0131m teknik ve mimari \u00f6nlemler al\u0131nmaks\u0131z\u0131n d\u00fcz bir hat \u00fczerinde kente ula\u015fm\u0131\u015f olmas\u0131 m\u00fcmk\u00fcn g\u00f6r\u00fclmemektedir. \u00c7al\u0131\u015fmada Phaselis kenti suyollar\u0131 ve hidrolik d\u00fczenlemeleri ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131 s\u00fcrecinde tespit edilen arkeolojik bulgular da imparatorlu\u011fun di\u011fer kentlerinde bulunan benzer \u00f6rneklerle kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131r\u0131larak analiz edilmi\u015ftir.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #4c637c;\"><strong>Anahtar S\u00f6zc\u00fckler:<\/strong><\/span> Phaselis Suyollar\u0131 \u2022 Enerji K\u0131r\u0131c\u0131lar \u2022 Roma Suyollar\u0131 \u2022 Hidrografi \u2022 Roma \u0130mparatorluk D\u00f6nemi<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><div class=\"divider top\" style=\"border-color:rgba(194,205,216,1);padding-top:5px;margin-bottom:30px;border-bottom-width:1px\"><a href=\"#\">Top<\/a><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #4c637c;\"><strong>Abstract:\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>Situated in the eastern Mediterranean on the sea trade routes, with its three sea ports the city of Phaselis was embellished through the many public buildings that represented the Roman Empire such as: baths, aqueducts, fountains and monumental gates during the Roman Imperial Era, a result of the economic prosperity and welfare consequent upon the Pax Romana.<br \/>\nThe location of the fresh water resources on the east slope of the Tahtal\u0131 Mountain, that provided the flow of water to the public structures constructed in the city, the architectural design of the aqueducts and the techniques applied to the aqueducts constructed during the course of the Roman Imperial Era in the Mediterranean basin were held in the scope of this research. There is almost 1020 meters of difference in the altitude between the aqueducts that passes through the city and the S\u0131tmaP\u0131nar\u0131 location where the altitude of the aqueducts reaches to 1029 meters high. The bird\u2019s eye distance between those two places were measured as 8000 meters. Taking in to consideration this physical status, it seems impossible that the aqueduct reached to the city on a straight line without taking architectural measures.
