Kutsal alanlardaki yap\u0131lar\u0131 bi\u00adlin\u00e7li olarak temenos<\/em>un herhangi bir yerine konumland\u0131rma ya da y\u00f6nlendirme yoluyla perspektif g\u00f6r\u00fcn\u00fcm kazand\u0131rma gayreti i\u00e7erisinde olduklar\u0131 belirgindir. Antik\u00e7a\u011fda Bat\u0131 Anadolu kent planlama, kutsal alan plan\u00adlama ve mimari planlama y\u00f6n\u00fcnden G\u00fcney \u0130talya, Sicilya ve Hellas\u2019tan daha zengin ve geli\u015fmi\u015ftir. Helle\u00adnistik mimari \u00f6zelliklerini M\u00d6 II. y\u00fczy\u0131lda g\u00f6stermeye ba\u015flam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Kutsal alan planlamas\u0131nda se\u00e7ilen yerin \u00f6zel\u00adli\u011fine ve uygunlu\u011funa g\u00f6re de\u011fi\u015fik planlama teknikleri kullan\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Hellenistik planlaman\u0131n ba\u015far\u0131s\u0131 yal\u00adn\u0131zca \u0131zgara plan\u0131n\u0131n e\u011fimli arazide ba\u015far\u0131l\u0131 bi\u00e7imde uygulanmas\u0131nda olmay\u0131p kentin \u00f6\u011feleri aras\u0131ndaki ili\u015fkiler ile an\u0131tsal\u00adla\u015f\u00adt\u0131\u00adr\u0131l\u00admas\u0131nda yatmaktad\u0131r. Hellenistik D\u00f6nem\u2019de kutsal alanlar\u0131n ve kamu yap\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131n e\u011fimli arazi\u00adnin bir dizi teras \u00fczerinde y\u00fckselmesi ve birbirleriyle ba\u011flant\u0131l\u0131 olduklar\u0131 izlenimini vermesi ile g\u00f6rsel olarak ho\u00ad\u015fa gidecek bir kentsel peyzaj olu\u015fturma e\u011filimi \u00f6n plana \u00e7\u0131kmaktad\u0131r. Bat\u0131 Anadolu\u2019da Ge\u00e7 Klasik D\u00f6\u00adnem\u2019de skenogra\u00adphia<\/em> kullan\u0131lmaya ba\u015flanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Hellenistik mimaride kat\u0131 eksen ve simetri kurallar\u0131 uygulan\u00admas\u0131na kar\u015f\u0131n planlamada esnek yap\u0131da eksen ve simetri kurallar\u0131 ile skenographia<\/em> kullan\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 izlenmektedir. Abstract: <\/strong>Western Anatolia was the most architecturally prolific territory of the Hellenic world in the Hellen\u00adistic period. It is noteworthy that the structures forming part of the sacred space were deliberately situated in the interior area of the temenos<\/em> or they were constructed with the intent to provide a specific perspective through their temenos<\/em>-angled fa\u00e7ades. The Western Anatolia city planning in antiquity is both more prolific and advanced in both architectural terms and in the planning of sacred space than was the case in Southern Italy, Sicily and Hellas. This Hellenistic architecture began to show its characteristics in the IInd<\/sup> century B.C. Various techniques of design were employed dependent upon the characteristic of the chosen space. The success of Hellenistic design does not merely consist in the successful employment of a grid design on a sloping space. Rather it is in the majestic harmony of the all the elements of the city. The prominent feature of Hellenistic city planning is the intention to create a visually appreciated landscape architecture whereby sacred spaces and public structures seem to climb over an inclined space upon a series of terraces with in\u00adtegrity and connectivity. In western Anatolia in the late classical period skenographia<\/em> were used. Notwith\u00adstanding the fact that Hellenistic architecture is strict in terms of axis and symmetrical rules, flexible axis and design rules and skenographia<\/em> were also employed in design. The influence of Hellenistic period design and architecture was maintained in the period of the early Roman Empire.
