Abstract:<\/strong> This paper examines the local imprints within which Karian patterns might have been embedded in the centrum<\/em> and territorium<\/em> of ancient Tymnos, in modern Bozburun Peninsula. The primary goal of the paper is to explore the way in which the Tymnian community and the associated ethnos<\/em>, could have expressed themselves via multiple means, in the course of Hellenization and transition process of the Peninsula into the patronage of the Island of Rhodes, as back as the late Classical period. It presents, as a rough estimate, a spatial autopsy and a sketchy vectoral habitat of the epigraphical material (mostly of the IInd <\/sup>century B.C-Ist<\/sup> century A.D) regardless of in situ<\/em>\/ non in situ<\/em> condition, over a 2.5 km radius of the physical domain, by referring to the published corpus epigraphicum<\/em>. It then explicates quite a general socio-cultural pattern of the oldest inhabitants, in light of the assimilated deities of the town as reflected through the cultic system of the Karians and ancient Peninsulars and, in a variety of contexts. As the discussions lead and the results display, scant but challenging indicators can suggest a Tymniannes, with a sense of autonomy, preferably achieved through the divine epithets, perhaps the political posts and minorities (if not the elite \u201c\u03a1\u03cc\u03b4\u03b9\u03bf\u03b9\u201d or \u201c\u03bc\u03ad\u03c4\u03bf\u03b9\u03ba\u03bf\u03b9\u201d) and imagery of \u03bf\u03bd\u03cc\u03bc\u03b1\u03c4\u03b1 in the economic framework. We can, on the contrary, neither articulate the loci<\/em> to which the Tymnian identity or the respective onomastics are linkable with precision nor a fully showcased indigenousness at a single event.<\/p>\n

Sonras\u0131nda, en eski sakinlerin olduk\u00e7a genel bir sosyo-k\u00fclt\u00fcrel yap\u0131s\u0131n\u0131, Karlar\u0131n ve antik yar\u0131madal\u0131lar\u0131n k\u00fclt sistemi arac\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131yla yans\u0131t\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 \u00fczere kentin asimile olmu\u015f ilahlar\u0131 \u0131\u015f\u0131\u011f\u0131nda ve \u00e7e\u015fitli kontekstlerde a\u00e7\u0131klamaktad\u0131r. Tart\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n rehber\u00adli\u011finde ve sonu\u00e7lar\u0131n g\u00f6sterdi\u011fi \u00fczere, k\u0131s\u0131tl\u0131 ancak d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnd\u00fcr\u00fcc\u00fc belirtiler, tercihen kutsal epithetler, belki siyasi makamlar ve az\u0131nl\u0131klar (kalbur\u00fcst\u00fc Rodoslular-\u201c\u03a1\u03cc\u03b4\u03b9\u03bf\u03b9\u201d veya metik<\/em>ler-\u201c\u03bc\u03ad\u03c4\u03bf\u03b9\u03ba\u03bf\u03b9\u201d) ve, ekonomi \u00e7er\u00ad\u00e7e\u00advesindeki isimlerin (\u03bf\u03bd\u03cc\u03bc\u03b1\u03c4\u03b1) betimleri \u00fczerinden var\u0131lan \u00f6zy\u00f6netim d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncesi ba\u011flam\u0131nda bir Tymnosluluk durumu ortaya koyabilir. Buna kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131k, kesin olarak Tymnosluluk kimli\u011fiyle ya da ilgili isimlerle ili\u015f\u00adki\u00adlendirilebilecek ne bir yer ne de \u00f6zel bir durum i\u00e7in b\u00fct\u00fcn\u00fcyle te\u015fhir edilen bir yerlilik telaffuz edebiliriz.<\/p>\n
