Di\u011fer buluntulara oranla \u00e7ok daha y\u00fcksek say\u0131da ele ge\u00e7meleri t\u00f6rene kat\u0131lanlar\u0131n bu minyat\u00fcr kandilleri severek adad\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 ve bunlar\u0131n t\u00f6renlerde \u00f6nemli bir role sahip olduklar\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6stermektedir. B\u0131rak\u0131lma ama\u00e7lar\u0131 olas\u0131l\u0131kla \u00f6teki d\u00fcnyadaki ruhlar\u0131n karanl\u0131kta yollar\u0131n\u0131 bul\u00admalar\u0131na yard\u0131mc\u0131 olmakt\u0131r. Abstract:\u00a0<\/strong>The lamps and the cernuses unearthed from the Caunus Demeter Sacred Site, which is known to have a chthonic property, were dedicated to the goddess Demeter from the Late Archaic to the Middle Hellenistic Period. A much higher number than the other finds indicates that those who participated in the ceremony were dedicated to these miniature lamps and had an important role in ceremonies. Their intentions were to help the souls of the other world to find their way in the dark. The gold leaf or bone fragments, which are found in some examples, should help to strengthen the expectations of the dedicators.<\/p>\n
