\u00d6z:\u00a0<\/strong>2017 y\u0131l\u0131nda Buca ve \u00e7evresinde ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirilen y\u00fczey ara\u015ft\u0131rmas\u0131nda Ge\u00e7 Geometrik D\u00f6nem \u00f6zellikleri g\u00f6steren seramiklerle kar\u015f\u0131la\u015f\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Geometrik D\u00f6nem seramiklerinin Buca\u2019daki varl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n nedenini de\u011ferlendirmek istedi\u011fimizde incelenen b\u00f6lgede y\u00fczeyde bir yerle\u015fime ili\u015fkin izlerle kar\u015f\u0131\u00adla\u015f\u0131lmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6ylemek m\u00fcmk\u00fcnd\u00fcr. Bu durumda b\u00f6lgede Ge\u00e7 Geometrik D\u00f6nem\u2019e tarihlenen bir me\u00adzarl\u0131\u011f\u0131n varl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnmek daha akla yatk\u0131n durmaktad\u0131r. Muhtemelen seramiklerin ele ge\u00e7ti\u011fi alan sonraki d\u00f6nemlerde de ayn\u0131 i\u015fleve y\u00f6nelik olarak kullan\u0131lm\u0131\u015f olmal\u0131d\u0131r. Spiegelthal\u2019in notlar\u0131nda Buca\u2019n\u0131n etraf\u0131n\u0131n Hellen ve Roma d\u00f6nemlerine tarihlenen mezar kal\u0131nt\u0131lar\u0131 ile \u00e7evrili oldu\u011fu bilgisinin verilmesi ise bu b\u00f6lgenin daha erken yerle\u015fmeler i\u00e7in mezarl\u0131k alan\u0131 olarak da kullan\u0131labilece\u011fi g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fc destekler niteliktedir. Seydik\u00f6y\u2019den kuzeye do\u011fru Koza\u011fa\u00e7\u2019a kadar uzanan antik yol boyunca, 2017 y\u00fczey ara\u015ft\u0131r\u00admas\u0131nda elde edilen yeni bulgular sayesinde, Arkaik D\u00f6nem\u2019de kullan\u0131m\u0131 artan bu yolun en az\u0131ndan Ge\u00e7 Geometrik D\u00f6nem\u2019de yo\u011fun olarak kullan\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6ylemek m\u00fcmk\u00fcn g\u00f6r\u00fcnmektedir.<\/p>\n

Abstract:<\/strong> The survey conducted in and around Buca in 2017 yielded pottery with Late Geometric characteristics. When we want to evaluate the reason of the existence of the geometric period pottery in Buca, it is possible to say that there are no traces of a settlement in the surface examined. In this case, it is more plausible to think of a cemetery dating to the Late Geometric Period in the region. Probably the area where the pottery were recovered should have been used for the same function in later periods. According to Spiegelthal’s notes, the fact that Buca is surrounded by grave remains dating from the Hellenistic and Roman periods supports the view that this region can be used as a cemetery for earlier settlements. Along the ancient road extending from Seydik\u00f6y to the north, Koza\u011fa\u00e7, it is possible to say that this road, which has increased its use in the Archaic Period, has been extensively used at least in the Late Geometric Period.<\/p>\n
