Abstract:<\/strong> The tornado disaster in January 2019 in and around the Kemer district of Antalya province start and hit the Phaselis very hard and thousands of trees were broken and blown down. During this unfortunate disaster, dozens of trees around the Hellenistic Temple (?), the terrace walls of which are visible on the piedmont of the Hellenistic Acropolis <\/em>on the northern slope of Phaselis toppled over. The roots of these fallen trees exposed terracotta material from a depth of 50 cm to 2 m. During the examinations started with a land survey over a quite broad area, thousands of broken and deficient terracotta pieces were found in an area of approximately 60 x 40 m. Among this material, roof tiles, pavement slabs, bricks, tableware, kitchenware, storage containers, amphorae, black–<\/strong>glazed pottery sherds, small finds and some production waste were found. According to preliminary investigations, these finds belong to the period from the mid Vth<\/sup> c. B.C. to the mid IVth<\/sup> c. B.C. The area of the Hellenistic Temple (?) of Phaselis ancient city have been included in the investigation area for the first time and yielded tangible results about the earlier phases of the city which give importance to this study. Further, the finds vary in date and material an important issue. Another important issue are the traces of local production among the finds.<\/p>\n

Bu talihsiz afet s\u0131ras\u0131nda Phaselis\u2019in kuzey yamac\u0131ndaki Hellenistik akropolis<\/em>in eteklerinde teras duvarlar\u0131 g\u00f6r\u00fcnen Hellenistik Tap\u0131nak (?) alan\u0131nda ve \u00e7evresinde de d\u00fczinelerce a\u011fa\u00e7 k\u00f6k\u00fcnden devrilmi\u015ftir. Y\u0131k\u0131lan a\u011fa\u00e7lar, 50 cm ile 2 m aras\u0131ndaki derinliklerden k\u00f6kleriyle birlikte pi\u015fmi\u015f toprak malzemeyi g\u00fcn \u0131\u015f\u0131\u011f\u0131na \u00e7\u0131karm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Olduk\u00e7a geni\u015f bir saha taramas\u0131yla ba\u015flanan \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalarda, yak. 60 x 40 m alana yay\u0131l\u0131m g\u00f6steren k\u0131r\u0131k ve eksik olarak binlerce pi\u015fmi\u015f toprak malzeme tespit edilmi\u015ftir. S\u00f6z konusu pi\u015fmi\u015f toprak malzemeler aras\u0131nda, \u00e7at\u0131 kiremitleri, zemin d\u00f6\u015femeleri, pi\u015fmi\u015f toprak tu\u011flalar, g\u00fcnl\u00fck kullan\u0131m kaplar\u0131, mutfak kaplar\u0131, depolama kaplar\u0131, amphoralar, siyah firnisli kap par\u00e7alar\u0131, binlerce k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck buluntu ve \u00fcretimi i\u015faret eden baz\u0131 at\u0131klar da tespit edilmi\u015ftir. \u0130lk belirlemelere g\u00f6re; ele ge\u00e7en buluntular\u0131n M\u00d6 V. y\u00fczy\u0131l ortalar\u0131 ile IV. y\u00fczy\u0131l ortalar\u0131 aras\u0131ndaki tarihlere ait olduklar\u0131 saptanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.\u00a0 Phaselis kenti Hellenistik Tap\u0131nak (?) alan\u0131n\u0131n ilk defa ara\u015ft\u0131rma kapsam\u0131na al\u0131nmas\u0131 ve kentin erken d\u00f6nemlerine dair somut veriler sunmas\u0131, bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fman\u0131n \u00f6nemini arz etmektedir. Ayr\u0131ca farkl\u0131 mal gruplar\u0131n\u0131n saptanmas\u0131 ve farkl\u0131 tarihli malzemelerin tespit edilmesi, bu alan i\u00e7in \u00f6nemli bir problematik olu\u015fturmaktad\u0131r. Di\u011fer bir \u00f6nem arz eden sorunsal ise, buluntular \u00fczerinde yerel \u00fcretimi i\u015faret eden verilerin ele ge\u00e7mesidir.<\/p>\n
