Tarihsel ba\u011flamda ele ald\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z \u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fcde, sosyolojik a\u00e7\u0131dan dokuman\u0131n\/giyimin ortaya \u00e7\u0131k\u0131\u015f\u0131n\u0131n uygarla\u015fma yolunda at\u0131lan en \u00f6nemli ad\u0131mlardan birisi oldu\u011fu g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fc irdeledik. Dokuma\/Giysi tanr\u0131\u00e7as\u0131 Uttu, sadece tar\u0131m\u0131n ve hayvanc\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n ortaya \u00e7\u0131k\u0131\u015f\u0131 ile birlikte olu\u015fan toplumsal de\u011fi\u015fimlerin simgelerinden birisi de\u011fil, yeni olu\u015fan sistemin kabul g\u00f6ren rol modellerinin ba\u015f\u0131nda gelir. Spesific to goddess Uttu we examined, weaving which was hidden in the formation of civilization and was performed mostly by women in ancient society has been discussed through myths. In the pattern we have discussed in the historical context, we have examined the view that the emergence of weaving\/clothing is one of the most important steps taken on the way to civilization. Uttu, the goddess of Weaving\/Clothing is not only one of the symbols of social changes that have occurred with advent of agriculture, but is the main of accepted role models of newly formed system.
