Devletlerin merkezi y\u00f6netimleriyle hem eyaletlerdeki resmi g\u00f6revlileri veya vasallar\u0131 hem de yabanc\u0131 devlet y\u00f6neticileri aras\u0131nda ger\u00e7ekle\u015fen bu yaz\u0131\u015fmalar imparatorluk h\u0131zl\u0131 posta sisteminin nas\u0131l y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fcld\u00fc\u011f\u00fc sorusunu akl\u0131m\u0131za getirmektedir. Bu devletler posta hizmetlerini g\u00fcvenli, verimli ve h\u0131zl\u0131 bir \u015fekilde y\u00fcr\u00fctebilmek i\u00e7in ana yol g\u00fczerg\u00e2hlar\u0131n\u0131n altyap\u0131 \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131na \u00f6nem vermi\u015f olmal\u0131d\u0131r. Hatta \u00f6zellikle Kraliyet yollar\u0131 \u00fczerinde belli aral\u0131klarda posta istasyonlar\u0131 ve dinlenme yerleri kurdurmu\u015flar, buralar\u0131 gerekli binek hayvanlar\u0131 ve g\u00f6revlilerle donatm\u0131\u015flard\u0131r. Bu istasyonlar arac\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131yla mesajlar \u00e7ok daha h\u0131zl\u0131 bir \u015fekilde ula\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Her bir istasyon aral\u0131\u011f\u0131nda at ve ulaklar yenilenmi\u015ftir. Devletleraras\u0131ndaki yaz\u0131\u015fmalarla ilgili delillerin bollu\u011funa ra\u011fmen, b\u00f6ylesine bir posta hizmetinin varl\u0131\u011f\u0131 ve i\u015flevselli\u011fi ile ilgili yeterli deliller sadece Yeni-Asur ve Pers Akhaimenid \u0130mparatorluklar\u0131 d\u00f6neminden gelmektedir. Biz bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmam\u0131zda her iki \u0130mparatorlukta y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fclen aktarmal\u0131 h\u0131zl\u0131 posta sisteminin detaylar\u0131n\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131klamaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015faca\u011f\u0131z. Bu sayede Pers Akhaimenid \u0130mparatorlu\u011fu\u2019nun geni\u015f topraklar\u0131nda irtibat kurma ve haberle\u015f\u00admenin \u00f6zellikle Pers kraliyet yollar\u0131 ana g\u00fczerg\u00e2hlar\u0131 \u00fczerinde \u00e7ok daha fazla m\u00fcmk\u00fcn k\u0131l\u0131nd\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 \u00f6n g\u00f6rece\u011fiz.<\/p>\n

Abstract:\u00a0<\/strong>Lots of evidence of official correspondence from the Ancient Near East states has reached to present day starting from the second half of the IIIrd millennium BC. These correspondences not only between the central governments of the states and both officials or their vassals but also with the foreign state administrators raise the question of how the imperial express post system was being carried out. These states should have given importance to the infrastructure works of the main road routes in order to carry out the postal services safely, efficiently and quickly. They even erected post-stations and resting places, especially on the Royal roads, at certain intervals and equipped them with horses and men to take care of them. Messaging was delivered much faster by means of these stations. Each horse and man at these intervals was renewed. It is even said that the night-messengers succeeded the day-messengers in relays. Despite the abundance of evidence on correspondence between states, the sufficient evidence for the existence and functionality of such a high speed relay post comes from the Neo-Assyrian and Persian Achaemenid empires. In this study, we will try to explain the details of the high speed relay post service carried out in both of the Empires. It is also assumed that the connectivity and communication within the vast territorial extent of the Persian Achaemenid Empire had been enabled to a great deal especially along the main routes of Persian royal road.<\/p>\n
