\u00d6z: <\/strong>Antik\u00e7a\u011fda Karia B\u00f6lgesi\u2019nde bulunan, g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde Mu\u011fla ili Dat\u00e7a Yar\u0131madas\u0131\u2019nda yer alan Knidos kentinin; Arkaik ve Klasik d\u00f6nemlerde geli\u015fmi\u015f bir k\u00fclt\u00fcr d\u00fczeyine sahip oldu\u011fu bilinmektedir. Buna istinaden \u00e7ok say\u0131da seramik, mimari ve plastik buluntular aras\u0131ndan Knidos i\u00e7in \u00f6nemli kabul edilen \u2018Aslan\u2019 yontusu, bug\u00fcn British Museum\u2019da sergilenmektedir.
\nAslan betimlerinin, \u2018Knidos Aslan\u0131\u2019 \u00f6nc\u00fcl ve ard\u0131l \u00f6rnekleri ile stil kriti\u011fi yap\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131nda; korkutucu\/koruyucu g\u00fc\u00e7, kuvvet, n\u00fcfuz sahipli\u011fi, liderlik ve cesaret anlamlar\u0131n\u0131n sembolle\u015ftirilme amac\u0131 ile tasarland\u0131klar\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcl\u00adm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. Aslan\u0131n stil \u00f6zellikleri ve bulundu\u011fu mimari yap\u0131n\u0131n d\u00f6nemsel \u00e7er\u00e7evede incelenmesi sonucu Knidos Aslan\u0131, Ge\u00e7 Klasik-Erken Hellenistik d\u00f6nemin nitelikli yontular\u0131ndan biri olarak de\u011ferlendirilmi\u015ftir. Bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma; Aslan betimi ve aslan t\u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fcn ya\u015fam alan\u0131, Knidos Aslan\u0131, Knidos Aslan\u0131\u2019n\u0131n bulundu\u011fu yap\u0131, fizyonomik ve anatomik de\u011ferlendirme do\u011frultusunda aslan\u0131n olas\u0131 ya\u015f tahmini ve sonu\u00e7 alt ba\u015fl\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 i\u00e7ermektedir. Bunu yaparken plastik esere yaln\u0131zca genel stil-kritik \u00f6zellikleri, ait oldu\u011fu yap\u0131, envanter bilgileri ve tarihleme kapsam\u0131nda de\u011fil, fakat ayn\u0131 zamanda heykelin simgebilimsel\/ikonografik olarak tart\u0131\u015f\u0131lmas\u0131 yap\u0131lm\u0131\u015f ve betimde tercih edilen olas\u0131 fizyonomik-anatomik detaylar\u0131 ve bunun semantik anlamda yontuda ifade etti\u011fi \u00f6zellikleri de de\u011ferlendirilerek plastik sanat\u0131n farkl\u0131 perspektiflerden incelenmesi ama\u00e7lam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n

Abstract: <\/strong>The ancient city of Knidos, which was located in the Caria Region in ancient times and is located on the Dat\u00e7a peninsula of Mu\u011fla province today; It is known that it had a developed cultural level in the Archaic and Classical periods. Due to this, there are many ceramic, architectural and plastic finds, The Lion of Knidos, which is considered to be important for Knidos, exhibited in the British Museum today.
\nWhen the critique of lions is made in the style critique; it was thought that they were designed with the aim of symbolizing the meaning of scary \/ protective power, force, influence of ownership, leadership and courage. The style of the lion and the architectural structure in which it was found were evaluated as one of the qualified sculptures of the Late Classical – Early Hellenistic period. This study; The depiction of the lion and the habitat of the lion species, the lion of Knidos, the structure in which the lion of Knidos is located, the possible age estimation of the lion in accordance with the physiognomy and anatomical evaluation, and the conclusion subheadings. While doing this, not only the general style-critical features, the structure to which it belongs, inventory information and dating are included in the plastic artifact, but also at the same time, the sculpture was discussed symbolically\/iconographically, and it was aimed to examine plastic art from different perspectives by evaluating the possible physiognomical-anatomical details preferred in the illustration and the features it expresses in the sculpture in the semantic sense.<\/p>\n
