\u00d6z:\u00a0<\/strong>Halk aras\u0131nda pa\u015fa deli\u011fi<\/em> olarak bilinen Dromos<\/em>\u2019lu yap\u0131, Sillyon\u2019un g\u00fcney yamac\u0131ndaki kayal\u0131k bir alanda kuzey-g\u00fcney oryantasyonlu konumlanmaktad\u0131r. Yap\u0131 ve \u00e7evresinde yap\u0131lan incelemelerde herhangi bir str\u00fckt\u00fcr tespit edilmemi\u015f ve tekil durdu\u011fu anla\u015f\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Buran\u0131n giri\u015fi g\u00fcneyde olup y\u00fczeyin alt\u0131ndan, kentin \u00fczerinde y\u00fckseldi\u011fi tepenin i\u00e7ine do\u011fru devam etmektedir. \u0130ncelemelerimiz sonras\u0131nda, yap\u0131n\u0131n be\u015f odal\u0131 ve uzun bir dromos<\/em>\u2019a sahip oldu\u011fu ve b\u00f6ylece s\u0131rad\u0131\u015f\u0131 bir plan sergiledi\u011fi ortaya \u00e7\u0131km\u0131\u015f ve kendisi i\u00e7in \u2018dromos<\/em>\u2019lu yap\u0131\u2019 terimi uygun g\u00f6r\u00fclm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. Odalar\u0131n her birine, g\u00fcneydeki giri\u015f odas\u0131ndan itibaren, A ile E aras\u0131nda alfabetik isimler verilmi\u015f ve de\u011ferlendirmeler odalara g\u00f6re yap\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. A odas\u0131n\u0131n bat\u0131 duvar\u0131nda, tam okunamayan d\u00f6rt sat\u0131rl\u0131k bir yaz\u0131t bulunmaktad\u0131r. A odas\u0131ndan ba\u015flayan 1.92 m y\u00fcksekli\u011finde ve 0.50 m geni\u015fli\u011findeki dromos,<\/em> kuzey y\u00f6nde 21.95 m devam etmektedir. Dromos\u2019<\/em>un taban\u0131nda bir kanal tespit edilmi\u015ftir. Dromos<\/em> kuzeyde, i\u00e7erden bir birbirine a\u00e7\u0131lan ve yan yana yerle\u015ftirilmi\u015f d\u00f6rt odaya ba\u011flan\u00admaktad\u0131r. Odalar\u0131n i\u00e7i nemli olup derz aralar\u0131ndan su damlamaktad\u0131r. Yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z incelemeler sonunda, odalarda biriken sular\u0131n dromos\u2019<\/em>taki kanal vas\u0131tas\u0131yla A odas\u0131na ta\u015f\u0131nd\u0131\u011f\u0131 ortaya \u00e7\u0131km\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Yap\u0131n\u0131n d\u00fczg\u00fcn \u00f6r\u00fclm\u00fc\u015f duvarlar\u0131, yap\u0131m tekni\u011fi ve odalar\u0131n \u00e7at\u0131 sistemi Roma \u0130mparatorluk D\u00f6nemi mimari \u00f6zelliklerini yans\u0131tmaktad\u0131r. Yap\u0131n\u0131n plan\u0131 ve suyla olan ili\u015fkisi kutsal bir y\u00f6n\u00fcn\u00fcn oldu\u011funu g\u00f6stermektedir. Bu makalede, mevcut ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar \u0131\u015f\u0131\u011f\u0131nda konumu, farkl\u0131 plan\u0131, in\u015faat tekni\u011fi ve yaz\u0131t\u0131ndan hareketle yap\u0131n\u0131n kimli\u011fi tart\u0131\u015f\u0131larak antik\u00e7a\u011fdaki i\u015flevi hakk\u0131nda \u00f6neriler sunulacakt\u0131r.<\/p>\n

Abstract:<\/strong> The concerned structure with dromos<\/em>, locally known as pa\u015fa deli\u011fi<\/em>, literally \u201cpasha\u2019s hole\u201d, is situated in a rocky part on the south slope of Sillyon. Oriented in the north-south direction, the structure is in solitude and no other structures were noted in close proximity during our exploration. The entrance is on the south and the structure extends into the hill on top of which the city rises. The structure is understood to comprise five chambers and a long dromos<\/em>, hence the term \u2018structure with dromos<\/em>\u2019, exhibiting a very unusual layout. The chambers are labelled with a letter from A to E and assessment is done according to chambers. A partially legible inscription in four lines is noted on the western wall of chamber A. The dromos<\/em> of 1.92 m height and 50 cm width starts from chamber A and stretches northward for 21.95 m. On the floor of the dromos<\/em> runs a canal. The dromos<\/em> leads to the four chambers, namely B to E, all placed side by side and interconnecting. These chambers are damp and water seeps in from between the blocks. Our investigation showed that the water collecting in the chambers was conveyed to chamber A via the canal in the floor of the dromos<\/em>. Fine masonry of the structure, construction technique and superstructures of the chambers reflect characteristics of the Roman Imperial period. The layout of the structure and its connection with water suggest that it had some sacred feature. This article explores its location, unusual layout, construction technique and the inscription and discusses its identity and function in antiquity.<\/p>\n
